Medellín is the headline. Almost everything sits in El Poblado around Parque Lleras and Provenza, with Laureles and the suburbs of Envigado and Sabaneta close behind — it's the most foreigner-heavy market in the country, and it has an active trans scene too. Bogotá is the biggest by raw numbers but more domestic: the Zona Rosa and Zona T, Chapinero, and the wealthier Chicó and Parque 93. Cartagena is pure tourism — the walled old city, Bocagrande and Getsemaní — and prices there come in dollars more often than not. Cali is the salsa capital, with the nightlife up at Menga and around Granada and El Peñón.
