Usage

This template can be used at the top of a birthday or day of death category page to link the reader to more general events that took place on this date.

As it detects automatically if an article for the given date exists, it can also be placed on category pages that do not have a corresponding article for this date yet. In this case, nothing is displayed.

Examples

{{events|November 6}} gives:

For general events on this date, see November 6.

{{events|1920}} gives:

For general events in this year, see 1920.
