Samantha Strong (born on June 9, 1967 in Seattle, Washington) is an American former porn star and adult model. She won the 1988 AVN Award for Best New Starlet and is an inductee in AVN Hall of Fame.[1]

After breaking up with her boyfriend of four years, Samantha wanted to do something to declare her independence (and annoy her ex-boyfriend), so she began posing for nudie magazines. Her pinnacle in modeling was her layout for Penthouse in 1986. Later that year she met Ron Jeremy at a VSDA show and he asked if she was interested in acting. She went to see John T. Bone, who was doing a video for Video Exclusives and leapt into the adult film business. After a string of movies for Video Exclusives, Samantha left porn for the first time in 1987. [2]

In 1988, Samantha came back and signed a contract with Vivid Entertainment. However almost immediately she had a contract dispute with them stemming from her refusal to perform with Jeff Stryker who had also done gay porn and presented a possible risk for HIV. Strong eventually agreed to perform with Stryker in the 1988 film The Heiress.[3] Nevertheless, after the movie she quit the business again and started dancing for a couple of years. In her own words, "Then I met this guy, got engaged, moved to Las Vegas, quit the business again - I wasn't even dancing - broke off the engagement, started dancing again, did a couple of tapes for Video Exclusives, and now I work exclusively for Western Visuals." [2]

Samantha got implants in 1992 after her breasts shrunk post-child birth. After appearing in "Sin City: The Movie" in 1992, Samantha took a year-and-a-half off from the biz after getting married in December of '92. She retired for good in 2002 (and then reportedly had her implants removed) after more than 100 movies and 15+ years in the business. [2]
