Julie Chrisley (born January 9, 1973 in Winchester, South Carolina) is an American reality star and television personality. She co-starred with her husband, Todd Chrisley, on "Chrisley Knows Best", an American reality television series that premiered on the USA Network on March 11, 2014 and followed the lives of Georgia real estate tycoon Todd Chrisley and his wealthy family[3].
Julie is the daughter of a Baptist minister and has three children with Todd: Chase, Savannah, and Grayson[4]. Julie had a double mastectomy in 2012 after a cancer diagnosis and later a reconstructive surgery[5].
Scandal
In June 2022, Julie and Todd were found guilty on federal charges of bank fraud and tax evasion and submitting false documents to banks to take out loans and fund their lavish lifestyle. In November 2022, the couple was sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison - 12 years for Todd, 7 years for Julie. "Chrisley Knows Best" was cancelled due to the scandal[6]. They reported to prison on January 17, 2023.
