Holli Would is the main fictional antagonist in Ralph Bakshi's 9th animated feature film Cool World. She is a doodle (slang term for a sentient animated inhabitant of Cool World), but she wants to be a real woman living in the real world and she is willing to resort to anything without hesitation to make her dreams come true, even killing.
Holli's body design came from that of her voice actress Kim Basinger, Drew Barrymore (who was first pick for Holli's actress but due to the sexual nature of the character and that Drew was 17 at the time she was let go), and a model named Jenine Freni.
A rumor claims that there was an unpublished version of the film in which Holli appears completely naked, but in the test exhibitions, it caused controversy, so they had to redraw clothes on Holli's body.
It is also assured that the actor Brad Pitt had a scene from Half-Naked with his girlfriend Loonette, and this version of the movie to this day has never been shown.
And while she doesn't have the popularity of Jessica Rabbit she is as well a frequent subject of artists and Cosplay models. She probably more inspired from one of Bakshi’s earlier characters in the movie Coonskin called Miss America.
