Ashley Ann Vickers is an American television personality, sports announcer, and model. She is an emcee for NBA team the Memphis Grizzlies and in 2010 became a WWE Diva as a ring announcer/co-host for the WWE program NXT under the name Ashley Valence. In 2011 she was one of 22 contestants on Season 2 of Sweet Home Alabama, a reality show airing in Fall 2011 on CMT.
Early life and modeling career
A native of Ft. Pierce, Florida and a former competitive rodeo rider, Vickers attended Lincoln Park Academy. Upon graduation, she competed in Miss Florida USA and subsequently began modeling. She has worked for NASCAR and the NHRA. Vickers was voted a semi-finalist in Maxim magazine's 2010 "Hometown Hotties" competition.
FCW
Vickers made her debut on Florida Championship Wrestling as ring announcer, host, and interviewer with the Bright House Sports Network introducing the lumberjill match for AJ Lee and Naomi Knight for the FCW Divas Championship and the Queen of FCW.
NXT & WWE Superstars (2010)
On June 22, 2010, Vickers made her WWE debut, joining Matt Striker as the co-host of NXT. Later that year she appeared in two episodes of WWE Superstars. She left WWE that December. She then made appearances as a Florida Championship Wrestling ring announcer. She has continued to model and has since appeared as a spokes-model on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in May and the Jay Leno show in July 2011.
