Anine Irmelin Bing is a Danish born model/singer best known for being a WAG.
Early Years
Anine Bing was born in Denmark on November 30 1982. At age 7, Bing started to take violin lessons, but eventually turned to singing. She honed her singing skills with the prestigious Royal Danish Academny of Music choir. At age 10, her family emigrated from Copenhagen (they had lived in the suburb Brønshøj) to Sweden because of her father's career.[1] Despite spending most of her life in Sweden, she declares her nationality as Danish. She also claims to be ¼ Brazilian descent.[2]
Career
Modeling
Bing is currently represented by Place Model Management agency in Hamburg, VMG Models in Goteborg, Sweden, and Stockholmsgruppen Models in Stockholm, Sweden. Bing has appeared on the cover of Café Magazine three times.[3] Not only has she appeared in Café but she has appeared in Moore Magazine and Slitz. She has also been in advertisements for Message, Ragno, and Stadium. Bing has modeled for the Ellos catalogue as well. [4]
In 2002, the City of Birmingham banned a billboard of Bing for being too distracting. The billboards were part of a £1 million nationwide "For Play" campaign by Italian sportswear company, Ellesse. However, Ellesse agreed with the Council and took them down.[1].
Music
From a young age, Bing has had a passion for music. In recent years, Bing has turned her professional focus to music. Following her move to Hollywood, Bing has been working with the writing production team John Baxter & Igemar Aberg. Bing has been writing and recording her songs for her debut album with Audeopop Music. Her first single is Delete. [5]
Personal Life
Bing lived in England during her relationship with Swedish professional footballer, Anders Svensson, whom she was dating in 2002. In Café Magazine, Bing said that the two had met initially at Café Opera in Sweden but it was not until they met at Mamma Mia in London that the two of them actually hit it off.[6]
In the May 2006 issue of Playboy Magazine (pg 48), she was noted as dating actor Jim Carrey and hockey player Peter Forsberg.
Bing currently resides in Los Angeles and Sweden. [7] After leaving England, Bing lived briefly in New York in 2008. After four months living there, Bing left because she was told she was too shapely and short and that she was more suited for Los Angeles. Bing told the New York Times:
“New York’s like the toughest place in the world,” said Ms. Bing, who now lives in Los Angeles. “All the top models are there, and you have to be super tall and super skinny. It was too tough for me. I couldn’t handle — I couldn’t handle the pressure.”[8]
