Vanessa Halstead (born May 14, 1983) is a retired British glamour model and actress.
Biography
Halstead was a competitive swimmer prior to her modeling career. The sport left her “looking very broad,” so she underwent surgery in 2004 to boost her natural B/C cup breasts to 34DD. After the operation, Halstead launched her career as a mainstream underwear model.
In 2007, Halstead started posing topless for several leg and panty fetish sites, including Only Tease, UK Upskirts, and Panty Maniacs. She billed herself as Naughty Ness for these adult sites.
In addition to modeling, Halstead made regular appearances on the hit British television shows Coronation Street and Hollyoaks from 2008 until 2011.
Halstead’s modeling career ended abruptly in late 2011. While visiting a tanning salon, she noticed that her right breast was extremely swollen. A few days later, she was stricken with unbearable pain while jogging. She was soon left debilitated and incapable of performing normal daily activities.
An ultrasound revealed that Halstead’s right implant had ruptured. The clinic that performed her original enhancement surgery in 2004 agreed to remove the PIP implants, but refused to replace them. Halstead eventually had the implants removed and replaced by another private clinic in December 2011.
After the ordeal, Halstead launched the Justice 4 PIP Victims website and online campaign, which called for the British government to strengthen its regulation of the cosmetic surgery industry.
Halstead retired from professional modeling immediately following her implant rupture. She now manages a promotional modeling agency in Burnley, Lancashire, UK.
