Marianne Hallberg is a Swedish adult model. She was one of the early Mayfair models, featuring on the front cover and central folding pages as "Girl of the Month" for July 1970 (Volume 5 number 7).
The images were created by the American photographer Phillip O. Stearns who chose props that would ensure that she was depicted as a prostitute.
As part of a series of 'The Girls You've Asked to See', most of the images were repeated in an article in the April 1986 (Volume 21 number 4) issue of Mayfair.
This featured detailed extracts from an apparent tabloid expose` which detailed Marianne's supposed sexual activities with a long list of male celebrities.
