Kimber James (born April 2, 1988 in Miami, Florida, United States[2]) is a American transgender former pornographic actress and adult model. In 2010, she won the AVN Award for Transsexual Performer of the Year.[3]
Career
James began her career in the porn industry as an assistant to transgender performer Gia Darling, and later made her film debut in Transsexual Babysitters 4.[4] In 2008, she became the first transgender performer to sign with the agency LA Direct Models.[4] In June 2009, she performed with a cis female for the first time, in a scene with Angelina Valentine.[5]
In 2012 she underwent gender reassignment surgery. After taking time off for SRS, James returned to the industry at the helm of her own studio, Kimber James Productions.
