Saphentite Neikes (サーフェンティット・ネイクス Sāfentitto Neikusu) is a character in the Light Novel, Manga, and (currently) Anime Series Monster Girl Doctor (Monsutā Musume no Oisha-sa). She acts as a Physicians Assistant to the series central character Glenn Litbeit.
Appearance
Saphentite (or Sapphy) is a Lamia (also known in Asian Indian mythology as a Naga) a half-human, half-snake hybrid.
She has a long, white serpentine body descending from her waist with long waist-length silver hair. Her upper body is humanoid, shapely, and lithe with large, bright red eyes. She wears a black mesh skin suit under a strapless, white cupped bralette. She wears the mesh to protect her skin from the sun. At her neck is a posture choker, white with gold accents and red gems to match the rest of her outfit.
Her sleeves hang low on her shoulders and span around her like a shawl. She wears a black skirt with a red, black, and white tunic-like fabric over it with white panels on her hips. Atop her head is a nurse cap. Her tail end has red and gold cuffs.
Skills/Abilities
Despite acting as Glenn's assistant, Sapphee is a highly trained doctor in her own right and is able to diagnose, treat and cure illnesses on her own. She specializes in creating medicines for the clinic due as her family are well known in the pharmaceutical field. Being a lamia has also endowed here with other attributes.
Sapphee is stronger than a normal human, particularly her tail which she uses as a third limb. Her tail is able to extend and expand and is strong enough to hold and restrain full-grown centaur warrior like Tisalia. She is also a trained assassin and martial artist and is able to fight off a group of skilled mercenaries. She will often use her tail as her primary weapon, whipping her opponents with immense power.
As a lamia, she is mostly immune to poisons that would normally be deadly to humans. Due to being part snake, she possesses the ability to detect body heat and other heat signatures through her eyes.
