Jeanne Basone (born May 19, 1963) is an American actress, professional wrestler, model and stuntwoman best known by her ring name Hollywood. One of her most noteworthy roles was that of her character Jane in the video game flop for the 3DO, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties.
Career
Jeanne Basone was known as Hollywood in the women's wrestling promotion Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW), founded by David McLane. She appeared as an on-screen character during the promotion's pilot and four seasons. After the cancellation of GLOW in 1989, Basone continued to compete on the independent circuit and several all-female wrestling promotions, including CRUSH, Beauty Slammers and Hottest Ladies of Wrestling.
During her work as a actress and stuntwoman, Basone appeared in numerous television series and films just as JAG and Me, Myself & Irene.
One of her noteworthy role of Basone acting career is Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, a 3DO video game develop by United Pixtures. She played the character Jane who is pressured by her father to find a suitable spouse. While the game received negative attention which considered one of the worst games of all time, it has garner a cult following and has gain Jeanne Basone popularity and internet fame over the years.
