Sameena Ali-Khan (born 30 December 1967) is a British journalist, newsreader and television presenter and model Ali-Khan is currently employed by ITV Central as a main presenter for ITV News Central
Ali-khan has won three RTS Midlands Best Screen Personality Awards in 2010, 2014 and 2015, for her work on ITV News Central
Broadcasting career
After completion of her Masters degree Ali-Khan relocated to Birmingham in 2000 and hosted Drive on the BBC Asian Network and Radio 5 Live. Ali-Khan joined ITV Central in 2005.
Ali-Khan was previously a presenter of the East edition of Central Tonight, before she left to go on maternity leave in mid-2008. She returned on 2 February 2009, co-presenting the West Midlands edition of the programme before it was merged with the East Midlands edition a fortnight later.
Ali-Khan has also presented the ITV News during 2006.
