Career
Molly O'Brian's first appearances were in the mid 1980's. Although her debut performances were not until 1988[1], she appeared in loops and shorts for Swedish Erotica, Color Climax/Private and Western Visuals among others.[2] (She is alternately/usually credited as Molly O'Brien) Most UK magazines have Molly hailing from Dublin. O'Brian appeared in numerous US and UK magazines and in a number of adult film titles usually paired with Tracey Adams during the height of her fame in the late 80's. Molly is notable for her very pendulous/tubular breasts and for being one of the first - if not the first - of a crop of internationally known porn stars from Ireland. (Lisa Phillips started in 1988, Cathy Patrick in the early 90's) She is usually presented as a blonde, but she is in fact a brunette. (Typically being mis[3] or non-identified[4] with her natural hair color, sometimes being mistaken for Donna Ambrose) Although Caucasian, some of her physical features (thick thighs, wide hips, full lips, round bottom, etc) suggest a bi-racial or mixed heritage.[5]
Molly's appearances after 1989 or 1990 became sporadic, some accounts indicate she left the industry and returned in the early 90's.[1] Upon her return, she sported a more natural brunette look and additional weight. She did some films for Odyssey Group Video and other studios and a handful of UK magazine shoots. In total, she appeared in approximately 20 films[1], however, most of her earlier [6] and later titles are out-of-print.[7] Around 1993, Molly left the adult entertainment business entirely.[1] Her whereabouts are unknown.
