Charisma Lee Carpenter is an American actress (mainly known from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer), who appeared nude in Playboy after her first child's birth.
Early years
Charisma Carpenter's family kept moving in between the US and Mexico, until finally settling in San Diego, US, in which Charisma Carpenter worked as an NFL cheerleader before developing an acting career.
Career
Charisma Carpenter's most famous role was Cordelia Chase, as whom she appeared between 1997-1999 in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Between 1999-2004 she reprised the same role in the spin-off Angel. In 2005-2006 she had a recurring role in the TV series Veronica Mars.
She also had supporting roles in dozens TV shows and made for television movies.
Charisma Carpenter only had two nude appearances on film to date: the Canadian television movie Flirting with Danger (2006), in which she exposed only her rear side (it was censored on US television) and the American movie Bound (2015), where she appeared topless.
Personal life
Charisma Carpenter married a man named Damien Hardy in 2002 and bore him a son in 2003.
They have separated towards the end of 2007 and she is currently single.
