Amanda Brunker (born 1973 in Dublin, Ireland) is a former Miss Ireland winner and current columnist for the Irish Sunday World newspaper. After attending Mount Temple Comprehensive School she turned to modeling, eventually entering and winning the Miss Ireland competition in 1991. She went on to represent her home nation in the Miss World Competition in Nigeria that same year without success.
Since then, she has continued modeling, acted in the film Head Rush, had a cameo role on the Irish soap Glenroe, been a nightclub hostess, presented her own late night TV show The Dinner Party and is currently a journalist/columnist for the Sunday World newspaper.
She lives in Dublin with her partner, Philip O' Loughlin, and their two sons. She is currently working on a novel, entitled Champagne Lifestyles, which is due for publication in June 2008.
