The American singer and song-writer Meghan Trainor was born on December 22, 1993. She first developed interest in music because of her father who was a musician himself and her passion kept increasing while growing up. After deciding to pursue her professional career in the field of music, she released three independent albums and also wrote songs for various artists before finally being signed by a record label. With the collaboration of songwriter Kevin Kadish, Meghan wrote the song “All About That Bass” in 2014 but many singers including Beyonce and Adele refused to record the song after which Trainor herself recorded the song.

She performed it in front of Epic Records chairman L.A. Reid who signed her to the company and released “All About That Bass” in June 2014 which went on to become one of the best-selling singles of all time. She followed-up her initial success with the debut album “Title” in January 2015 which also gained a lot of commercial success.
