Jacqueline Fernandez (born 11 August 1985) is a Sri Lankan actress, former model and beauty queen who won Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. Fernandez marked her Bollywood debut in Sujoy Ghosh's Aladin, for which she won an International Indian Film Academy Award for Best Female Debut and Stardust Award for Lux Exciting New Face in 2010. She shot to fame with Mahesh Bhatt's blockbuster hit Murder 2 (2011) in which she grabbed a lot of attention due to her sex appeal.
She subsequently featured in top-grossing films such as, Housefull 2 (2012) and Race 2 (2013). Major Bollywood production Roy feature her in lead role. She also has bagged a lead role in According to Mathew, which is her Hollywood debut and approached to act in Prince of Malacca. Apart from doing full fledged roles in movies, she rose to prominence by featuring in songs including Dhanno, Lat Lag Gayee ( Race 2) and Jadoo Ki Jhappi (Ramaiya Vastavaiya ).
