Gabrielle Drake (born March 30, 1944, in Lahore, Pakistan) is a British actress . Trained in the discipline of acting at RADA she made her first appearance on screen in 1966, beginning a career that has spanned 5 decades and has included appearnaces in many of the UK's most famous television series as well as a prolific output in film. Best remembered for her role as Lt Gay Ellis in the cult Gerry Anderson paranoid sci-fi series 'UFO' ( for which she was required to wear a bacofoil outfit and purple wig ) and for the fact that her brother was the doomed hippy troubadour Nick Drake, there are still a few blurry pictures to testify to her outstanding physique at her peak
