Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5, 1971) is an American country music singer and songwriter. She is known for her hit songs "No Place That Far", "Born To Fly", "I Could Not Ask For More", "I Keep Looking", "Perfect", "Suds in the Bucket", "A Real Fine Place to Start" and "A Little Bit Stronger".
Dancing with the Stars
Evans was a contestant on the third season of the ABC celebrity dance competition "Dancing with the Stars". However, Evans withdrew from the competition to be with her kids after filing for divorce from her husband Craig Schelske.
Personal Life
Evans was married to aspiring politician Craig Schelske from September 25, 1993 to September 28, 2007 (just three days after their 14th anniversary). Together, the couple had three children: Avery Ryan (1991), Olivia Margaret (2003) and Audrey Elizabeth (2004).
Evans is currently married to former University of Alabama quarterback and radio show host Jay Barker, who she wed on June 14, 2008. The couple currently live in Mountain Brook, Alabama and she is also the stepmother to Barker's four children.
