Jennifer Shrader Lawrence (born August 15, 1990) is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her Academy Award nominated role in the film Winter's Bone (2010) and for her role on the TBS comedy The Bill Engvall Show.
Jennifer's other film credits include a lead role in Lori Petty's Poker House opposite Selma Blair and Bokeem Woodbine as well as roles in Devil You Know and Garden Party. She also starred in Guillermo Arriaga's directorial debut The Burning Plain, opposite Charlize Theron and Kim Basinger. Her television credits include roles on Cold Case, Medium, and Monk.
Jennifer received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role in the 2010 movie Winter's Bone.
In 2011, she appeared in the Jodie Foster directed film The Beaver and then in X-Men: First Class in the role of Mystique. She stars in the 2012 blockbuster The Hunger Games as lead character Katniss Everdeen.
