Micaela Schaefer (Micaela Schäfer, born November 1, 1983 in Leipzig, Germany), is a German fashion model, actress, TV personality, DJ, and singer. She was Miss East Germany 2004, Miss Venus 2005, The Face Of Campari 2005 and Miss Maxim 2006. She also ranked eighth place in the first cycle of Germany's Next Top Model in 2006.
Early life
Micaela Schaefer was born in Leipzig, Germany and lived there for two years before moving to Berlin. As a child she attended ballet school. After finishing high school, she studied as a pharmacy technician before she started her modeling career.
Modelling and acting
In 2006, Schaefer attended the casting call on the first season of the ProSieben show Germany's Next Top Model, where she finished eighth. Before that she had the title Miss Maxim, Miss Venus and Miss East Germany. This was followed by television appearances on Big Brother, the RTL-2 production Cinderella experiment, Das Supertalent and Das Perfekte Dinner. She was also seen as a supporting actress in television series, such as R. I. S. – Die Sprache der Toten, Der Kriminalist and Anna und die Liebe. In 2012, Schaefer appeared in the sixth season of I'm a Celebrity - Get Me out of Here!, finishing in fourth place.
Music
In 2009, Schaefer released Life Is Just a Game, in collaboration with Loona. In the end of 2011, Schaefer sang Subway to Paradise, with the model Franziska Czurratis. The duo was previously known as La Mica & the Fränzi at the Super Talent. In 2012, Schaefer, again with Loona, released their second song So Much Love.
In clubs, Schaefer DJs by the name La Mica. She can be found in house and techno clubs, at times topless.
Other Appearances
Erotic pictures of Schaefer appeared in the men's magazine such as Playboy, Men's Health and FHM. Schaefer hosted different porn fairs and modeled in the Berlin Fashion Week. In 2010, shots from a lingerie shoot of Schaefer were used for a porn film. Schaefer is a marketing partner of the erotic portal Fundorado.
In March 2012, she participated in ProSieben's Celebrity Boxing, where she lost to Indira Weis by points.
