Mariko Morimoto (盛本真理子 - Morimoto Mariko) is a retired Japanese adult model. She began as an actress and glamour model in 1987. Unfortunately, she was nearly raped by a director of advertisement and decided to step away from entertainment industry. Her first and nude gravure and also image video were shot as a memorial. However, she stayed in her acting career thereafter. Besides, several image videos of her were released later. However, as an adult model was well, only a few gravures were released.
Even she took advantage of doing nude in her acting career. But she stopped it after being major role in film for her first time. Then she played a few more films and TV dramas, and further, her acting career was terminated. As a result, she threw herself into adult model career. Several gravures were released and subsequently she announced to retire. Nevertheless, her newly-shot gravures were released again and retired in 2000 finally.
Biography
There are many versions of the date and place of birth of Morimoto, including 3rd or 8th of September in 1969 or 1971 at Kanagawa, Kumamoto or Hiroshima Prefectures in Japan. According to the latest official publication[1], her date and place of birth should be September 8, 1971 and Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Hobbies are solo travel, water sports and horse riding. Specialty is soroban (Japanese abacus) calculating.
Physical Appearance
Morimoto is a quite short and underweight but has a curvaceous body. Her measurements are ordinary in number and her bust size is 34. In spite of that, she often looks bustier than her actual bust size and her hips are well-rounded. Her small nipples and comparatively large areolae bring her crescent-shaped breasts to perfection. A mole between lower parts of breasts is another characteristic of her. Shoe size is 22.5 cm.
Early Career
Morimoto began as an actress in 1987 and made her debut in film "Honba Joshiko Manual (本場ぢょしこうマニュアル)". Later, she played in TV dramas "The School Cops (ザ・スクールコップ)" and "Lawyer, Ippei Imada (弁護士・今田一平)" of Fuji TV in Japan. At the same time, she started to appear in advertisement and also worked as glamour model of magazines. Even she has never done nude scene at that time. Her body, especially her breasts, have already caught men's eyes.
Unfortunately, she was nearly raped by an advertisement director in hotel on August 8, 1988. This case was judged on October 17 and widely reported by media[2]. Excluding support and encouragement from fans, this resulted in conjecture of aspiration to public attention. Due to such negative report, she decided to step away from entertainment industry. From January to March 1989, shooting of gravure or image video were carried out at Yamanshi and Nagano Prefectures in Japan, Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand as a memorial. Her first and nude gravure and image video also named "Loving Forever" were released in May.
Turning Point of Career
Even inside the first gravure and image video of Morimoto, there are some texts and dialogue describing her decision about stepping away from entertainment industry. Afterward she concentrated much on her adult model career. Her image video "Pretty Girl Hi-Fi Studio Vol. 5: Endless Dream (美少女 Hi-Fi 写真館 Vol.5 エンドレス・ドリーム)" and multi-starred image video "Pretty Girl Video Magazine Vol. 11 (ビデオマガジンベッピン Vol. 11)" with Ai Komori, Miku Fujioka, Aoi Shibata, Naomi Shimada and Misaki Nagoya were released in June, 1989. Another image video "Melody of Autumn (秋色のメロディー)" was released in November. On the other hand, her acting career was temporarily suspended for the whole year.
In 1990, she came back to her acting career and did nude scene in TV drama "The Giant Tower in White (白い巨塔)" and film "Technical Virgin (テクニカル・ヴァージン)". Besides, her second gravure "Mandala" and four of her image videos were released in the same year. Another multi-starred image video "Pretty Girl Video Magazine Vol. 20 (ビデオマガジンベッピン Vol. 20)" of Rie Watanabe, Rui Asama, Tomoka Iwakura and her was released as well. However, Morimoto's part was extracted from her previous image video "Pretty Girl Hi-Fi Studio Vol. 5: Endless Dream". Eventually, she acted as one of the major role in film "Scandoll (スキャンドール)" and this is the last film recording her nude scene.
In 1991, except a pocket-sized gravure "Are Izen Sore Izen (あれ以前 それ以前)" with two others adult models Harumi Kai and Nana Hodaka, Morimoto stopped doing nude and fully resumed her acting career. She played in TV drama "Noble Cops 2 (刑事貴族2)" and film "Twilight, Mysterious Killing Game (トワイライト・ミステリー 殺しの遊び)". Nonetheless, a multi-starred image video "Moonlight Ⅱ (ムーンライト Ⅱ)" of Akiho Sendoh, Tomoko Mayumi, Tomoko Takabe, Megumi Yuki, Atsuko Kawada, Masako Takeda and her was released in July, which includes her nude scene in previous image video "Slender Venus (スレンダー・ヴィーナス)". After playing in TV drama "Sing! The Great Ryūgū-jō (うたう!大龍宮城)", the film "Dirge of Technical High School, Boys of Volleyball (工業哀歌バレーボーイズ)" in 1992 became the final stage of her acting career.
Return to Adult Model Career
Once Morimoto stopped doing nude. She has not made many photo shoots for magazine. Only one multi-starred image video of Fumie Hosokawa, Kumiko Hara, Ritsuko Inao and her was released in July, 1992. This is also the only swimsuit image video of her. Other than that, her previous gravure "Are Izen Sore Izen" was republished in December, 1992 but no newly-shot gravure was released.
Until December, 1993. Her fourth gravure "White Woman (ホワイト・ウーマン)" which shot in Los Angeles, California, USA was released. Moreover, she posed nude for magazine again too. At the time, her maturer face and slimmer body consolidated her position in adult model career. In July 1994, her fifth gravure "Perfume (パフューム)" and first full-frontal one which shot in Singapore was released. Before that, she never did any such photo even she posed totally unclothed in photos or image videos (This was prohibited by the law in Japan but it was abandoned in 1991[3]). She became well-known with this gravure and stepped into the golden era of her adult model career.
