Christa Speck (born August 1, 1942 in Danzig, Germany (now Gdańsk, Poland)) is a German model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the September 1961 issue, and as the 1962 Playmate of the Year. Her original pictorial was photographed by Sam Wu.
Christa was working as in a bank at the time she was discovered by Playboy. After her Playmate appearance, she became a Playboy Playmate at the Chicago Playboy Club and was featured in several more Playboy pictorials. She married children's programming producer Marty Krofft, and they have three daughters together.
Her centerfold is seen in the 1978 film Animal House which takes place in 1962.
Christa Speck now goes by the professional name of Kristina Krofft, and she has appeared in episodes of several television series: Will & Grace (2005), Heaven or Vegas (1999), Denial (1998), Mike Hammer, Private Eye (1997), Silk Stalkings (1995), Cybill (1995).
