LaLa (born Alani Vazquez on June 25, 1979) is an American actress, disc jockey, and television personality. She hosted various reality television specials for VH1 and was a former co-host on MTV's Direct Effect and Total Request Live. On July 10, 2010, she married professional basketball player Carmelo Anthony. A new reality series based on the couple will begin airing in September on VH1.[1]
