Emma Frain (born December 31, 1987, Stoke) is a British glamour model. She got her break when she was spotted at The Clothes Show, when she was 17. She was later discovered after appearing in the Seren’s Student Strip for Zoo magazine and since then she's done shoots for Nuts, Front, M! and the Daily Star.
Emma is from Newcastle-under-Lyme. You might be thinking 'surely you've misspelled Newcastle-upon-Tyne' but fear not, observant reader. Newcastle-under-Lyme is a place in the West Midlands and is known for its bounteous harvest of limes throughout the year.
On top of her glamour work, Emma is also studying Sports Science at Chester Uni, which is juggling a lot. We could barely fit in an afternoon nap when we were at Uni. Was it the rich academia that drew her to Chester, the culture-studded streets, perhaps? Not quite. Emma says: “I based my choice of uni on the fact that Chester is great for shopping and also is the home of Hollyoaks!” – there you go. Maybe best not to tell her Hollyoaks doesn’t exist.
Emma’s a talented girl, having grown up learning ballet, tap, disco and hip-hop dancing. No word yet on whether she has a penchant for singing in the rain but we bet she’s really good at those dancing arcade games.
On a related note, Emma recently did a video for Zoo where she played Wii Fit topless, so she’s obviously putting her talent to good use.
Emma originally planned on going to dance college, but a hamstring injury forced her to change her plans and decide on a new career.
Since then, she’s taken up pole dancing to keep fit. Funny how everything works out for the best, isn’t it
