Anna Benson (born February 12, 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American glamour model and philanthropist. Benson is mostly known for her large breasts, outspoken personality and being a baseball wife.
Early Life
Anna Benson was born outside of Atlanta, Georgia. As a teenager, she was popular among boys because of her big breasts. In 1992, at 16, Anna moved out of her parents' house, because she didn't get along with them. In 1993, Anna married a dentist and had a daughter, Alyssa in 1994. They divorced the next year. To support her child, Anna became a stripper.
A Better Life
In October 1998, Anna met then-minor league pitcher Kris Benson. Anna and Kris began dating in January and got married in October 1999 in Hawaii. After getting married Anna gave birth to her son, P.J. In 2001, Anna gave birth to her third child, Haylee. After raising her children, Anna enhanced herself with breast implants and began modeling. First, Anna modeled for Penthouse which also featured an interview of Anna and Kris.
In July 2004, her husband was traded to the New York Mets. A combination of a FHM pictorial in November 2006 and interview with Howard Stern made her popular in New York. In 2005, FHM ranked her #48 on FHM-U.S.'s 100 Sexiest Women. In July 2005, Anna began playing at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Four months later, Anna was negotiating with Playboy magazine for a pictorial. At a NY Mets Christmas Party for Kids, Anna appeared as Mrs. Claus while wearing a low-cut dress. Possibly because of this and the Playboy negotiations, the Mets traded Kris Benson to the Baltimore Orioles.
On March 30, 2006, Anna filed for divorce from Kris. The divorce petition stated that the marriage was irretrievably broken. On April 4th, Anna withdrew the petition. To celebrate the upcoming 2006 baseball season, Anna posed topless for FHM magazine. Eventually, FHM ranked her #29 on FHM-U.S.'s 100 Sexiest Women for 2006. In August 2006, Anna posed naked on the cover of The Sporting News.
Philanthropy Work
In October 2001, Anna and her husband, Kris created a nonprofit organization called Benson's Battalion devoted devoted to fighting terrorism. The organization has funded money to the United Way, Salvation Army and the American Red Cross. Anna also funds children's hospitals.
