Sunny Lane (born in Georgia) is an American porn star and adult model.
She was born in Georgia and raised in Florida. Her parents are Shelby and Mike, who worked in air-freight.[2] In her youth she was a competitive roller skater and ice skater,[3] and later worked as an instructor teaching[4] as well as yoga and pilates.[5]
While working as a professional skater, she required bunion surgery[5] that kept her from skating so she started dancing to support herself.[6] She became an exotic dancer and won Déjà Vu Showgirl of the Year in 2004. Lane was invited to attend the AVN Awards ceremony in 2005, where at an after-show party hosted by Sean Michaels she encountered an agent from Playboy.[5] She started to act in adult movies in the same year.
Her career is supported and managed by her parents, with whom she lives in an apartment.[7] For a while she had a relationship with Dennis Hof, owner of the Nevada brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch.[3] She had 5 nominations at the AVN Awards 2007 (including a second nomination for Best Actress).
She appeared on the premiere episode of the Fox Reality series My Bare Lady which aired December 7, 2006[8] and on an episode of ABC Primetime: The Outsiders defending her career.[7] She also appeared with her parents on Fox News's Geraldo at Large on 18 March 2007, using the alias "Sunny Lee." She also appeared on the television show Pants-Off Dance-Off on Fuse TV.
Lane announced in June 2007 that in addition to working as an actress, she would also be making appearances as a feature dancer on the strip club circuit.[9]
