Barbara Hilary (born February 18, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the April 1970 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar. She had studied speech and English at Marquette University and worked at the Playboy Club in New York City.
Hillary was the middle sibling of five children. She had worked as a Girl Scout leader in Alaska and once was chased by a black bear. Once, she hitchhiked over 300 miles in order to save money for college. She went on to become a registered nurse, and has spent several years volunteering in the Philippines, where she assists with cataract surgeries for the poor.
