Brandy Koonts (September 17 1979 – September 22 2005), better known by her stage name Julie Robbins, was an American porn star and exotic dancer. She was born in Lexington, North Carolina, and died in a car accident in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Robbins is survived by a daughter (born 1998).

Pornographic career

After starting out as an exotic dancer, she turned her attention to pornographic work, her first film being Virgin Pink 7.

Robbins was the star of 41 films between 2003-2005, the last being Blonde Factory (SIN CITY). Her other films included Bounced Check Bitches, Public Enemy #1, and the Victoria Givens world record video. In 2005, Robbins was voted Miss Nude Porn Internet, and Exotic Dancer Magazine's Feature Performer Newcomer Of The Year.

She performed in a lot of gonzo movies, and was known for her anal sex scenes. She is also known for participating in an extremely rough scene with Tony T. in the film Sore Throat, which many considered to be highly degrading. In the scene, she endures Tony T. repeatedly choking her, spitting into her mouth, and even flicking cigarette ashes onto her tongue. She also worked as a bondage model, doing both clothed and nude work.

Death

Koonts died on September 22 2005 in a car accident. Her car burst into flames after hitting a telephone pole. There were many witnesses to the incident, some of whom tried to get her out of the car but the heat and the flames were too intense. After surviving the crash and the fire, she was taken out of the car and airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, but she died from her injuries at 11 p.m. She had burns to 95% of her body.

She was buried on September 25 in Lexington, North Carolina.
