Nicola Glencross (born 1989 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish professional wrestler currently signed to WWE under the ring name Nikki Cross, where she performs on the NXT brand. She previously wrestled on the independent circuit under the ring name Nikki Storm.
Independent circuit (2008–2015)
Cross began training at Scottish Wrestling Alliance and made her debut for the promotion in September 2008 under the ring name Nikki Storm. She then began working on the English independent circuit, and became a mainstay for promotions such as Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), where she debuted in February 2010, and Pro-Wrestling: EVE, where she held the Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship three times. In 2013, she toured Japan with JWP Joshi Puroresu, and made appearances for World Wonder Ring Stardom in Summer 2015. In October 2013, Cross began wrestling for American all-female promotions Shimmer Women Athletes, Shine Wrestling and Women Superstars Uncensored. She has also wrestled for Global Force Wrestling (GFW), Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), World Wide Wrestling League (W3L), Queens of Combat, and World Xtreme Wrestling.
WWE (2016-Present)
Cross received a tryout with WWE at London on the autumn of 2015, and in April 2016, she was announced as one of ten signees that had began training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. She debuted for WWE NXT on April 22 during a live event. In August, it was announced via a Facebook live video that she would be competing under the new ring name Nikki Cross. Under the ring name Nikki Glencross, she made her first televised appearance and in–ring debut on the August 17 episode of NXT, where she competed in a six-woman tag team match along with Carmella, and Liv Morgan, in which they defeated Daria Berenato, Mandy Rose, and Alexa Bliss.
On the October 12 episode of NXT, Cross returned as a heel while she was introduced as part of the debuting stable, SAnitY, along with Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, and Sawyer Fulton, she and Young would accompany Fulton and Wolfe for their winning effort against Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. One week later, on the October 19 episode of NXT, Cross made her televised singles debut and achieved her first live victory by defeating Danielle Kamela, however, the decision was reversed when Cross continued to attack Kamela after the match.
