Career
She appeared in over 100 pornographic films between 1977 and 1984, many for director Chuck Vincent. She twice won the Adult Film Association of America Best Actress awards, in 1979 for Jack 'n' Jill, Part 1, and in 1980 for This Lady Is a Tramp.
In 1984 she quit hardcore pornography, and moved to sexploitation films, such as Warrior Queen (1987). She appeared in these under her birth name of Stacia Micula.
Personal life
She met her long term companion, pornography actor Bobby Astyr (b. 1940), on a movie set in 1978. The two lived in side-by-side apartments in New York City's East Village until he died of lung cancer in 2002.
In 2003, she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. She is often confused on the Internet with British singer Samantha Fox.
