Carole Augustine (born June 18, 1953-died January 5, 1975) was a British glamour model. She was Penthouse Pet of the Month Miss February 1972. Augustine became a nation-wide sex symbol as the girl in television's Manikin Cigar advertisements. Carole was of Portuguese, Venezuelan, Scottish and Polish descent. After her appearance in the 1974 sexploitation flick Confessions of a Window Cleaner, she reportedly died under mysterious circumstances, also reportedly due to a barbituate overdose.[1]
