Catherine Bach (born Catherine Bachman; March 1, 1954) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Daisy Duke in the 1979-85 CBS primetime television series The Dukes of Hazzard and Margo Dutton in the film African Skies.

Career

Bach's first screen appearance was in the Burt Lancaster murder mystery, The Midnight Man, shot in Upstate South Carolina in 1973, in which she played the murdered coed, Natalie Claiburn. It was released in June 1974.

Her next role was as Melody in the 1974 film Thunderbolt and Lightfoot.

In 1985, she served as the model for the figurehead for the schooner Californian.[1]

In 2004, Catherine reprised her role as Daisy Duke in voice over for The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee video game, which helped re-spark interest in the popular 1979-85 CBS-TV show.
