Vaniity (born on July 26, 1973 in Uruapan, Mexico) is an retired award winning Mexican transgender porn star and adult model. She's the owner of her website Club-Vaniity. She has also worked as a mainstream model and actress.

Vaniity is famously well known as an AVN Hall of Fame inductee, as well as being the first transgender to win an AVN award in 2004, and as the first to be be nominated up against a woman for Virtual Vanity. She's considered an icons in the transgender community who has paved the way for many aspiring trans models and performers within the adult entertainment industry.

Because of her long-lasting roles in the adult entertainment industry, she has been dubbed the Queen of Transgender Porn. Although she has retired from the adult entertainment industry, her celebs status led her to become a worldwide sensation.

Early life

Vaniity was born in Uruapan, Mexico on July 26, 1973. Her family migrated to Sunnyvale, California when she was seven years old. Vaniity comes from a large family; she has six brothers and four sisters.[3] She is of Purepecha descent.

According to Vaniity, she lived as a feminine boy who subconsciously knew she would grow up to be a girl and was aware of her sexuality at a young age; "I dreamed of being a wonder woman of sorts, I have always admired strong women, especially brunette women, I secretly wore my sisters' dresses, openly played with Barbies, played makeup artist and fashion consultant to my mother and sister."[4]

Career

Vaniity made her official porn debut in 1998 when she was 25 years old, performed in over 70 films and videos and worked with production companies such as Devil's Film, Evil Angel, and Kink.com. She went on to shoot Vaniity Exposed and Virtual Vaniity, making her the first transsexual star to carry an entire film and the first to have an interactive DVD.

Vaniity has taking alot of break from the porn industry until her retirement in 2015.[5] Her website haven't been updated since 2016 and it's currently unknown when she'll ever return to the porn industry.

Appearances

Vaniity has appeared on The Man Show, Pornucopia, The Howard Stern Show[6] and Sexcetera. She has also appeared in several mainstream short films such as The Chick Magnet (2005), The Journey (2013), and Wifi Killer (2014).[7]
