Erika Ervin, also known as Amazon Eve, is a American transgender supermodel, fitness trainer[2] and actress who is of German and Dutch ancestry.
She has appeared on the cover of Australian magazine Zoo Weekly[3][4][5] and played a recurring character on American Horror Story: Freak Show and in American Horror Story: Apocalypse. At 6 feet 8 inches tall.[6][7][3][4][5][8], news stories have called her "the world's tallest model".[6][7][8]
Biography
Eve grew up in a small town in Central California. She has a bizarre medical condition that increased her height to 6'9" when she was 18. She also studied theater arts and business management in college. Later she studied law and exercise physiology. She became a personal trainer. She is the world's tallest model according to Guinness World Records [9] She tours the world participating in height comparison photo shoots and regular modeling jobs and posts her tour on her website. [10] Eve lives in Redondo Beach, California.[4][5]
Ervin underwent sex reassignment surgery in 2004.[11] In interviews Ervin has talked about the problems of being a tall woman. Other topics she has addressed include her troubles growing up dealing with teasing in high school, family problems and her modeling experience.
