Carrie Finnell (born c. 1890 in Covington, Kentucky, USA, died November 14, 1963) was an American burlesque performer.
Career
A top stripper of the 1920s, Carrie Finnell not only introduced the nipple tassel [1], she was known for her "educated breasts"; she could pop a breast out of her dress, make her breasts point in different directions, and well as twirl her tassels independently of each other.
She was known for her "Shave and a Haircut, Two Bits" finale:
- "On the Shave and a Haircut, Carrie's breasts rapidly and in unison point left and right. On the Two they point down, on the Bits, they point up. It is a rare talent." [2]
