[edit] Template documentation
This template is used on many pages.
To avoid any disruptions and to save server load, any changes should first be tested in this template's /sandbox or /testcases subpage, or in your own user space. The tested changes can then be added in one single edit to this template. As a courtesy to other users, please discuss any changes at the talk page before implementing them.

This template is a metatemplate called by {{Google translation}} to strip white spaces, which is only possible with named parameters. Otherwise, white spaces would cause a link to break, because they would be considered part of the link.

Usage

If you prefer named parameters in your code, you can use this template instead of {{Google translation}}.

Syntax:

{{Google translation named|url=<text>|code=<text>}}

For details on the parameters and how the template works, see {{Google translation}}.
