Template:Biobox nonperformer Steve Diet Goedde (pronounced [stiːv 'daɪət 'gɛdɪ],[1] born 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA) is an American fetish photographer who currently lives in Los Angeles, California, USA.[2] He is the son of amateur photographer Herman F. Goedde and H. Goedde.[3] His mother died on March 22, 2008.[4]
Name
Asked where the "Diet" in his name comes from and how his last name is pronounced, Goedde replied:
- "'Diet' is pronounced just like Diet Coke. I used to be in an experimental punk rock band called Coma Diet. For years, people referred to me as Steve Diet. So when I decided to get serious with my photography, I decided to keep my nickname in addition to using my real last name, Goedde, which is pronounced 'geddy'."[1]
