Tania Kliukvina (Russian: Таня Клюквина) is a Ukrainian glamour model from Kiev, Ukraine[1], who appears on various Russian and Ukrainian fine art photographer sites.

Spelling and etymology of name and nickname

Spelling

The different spelling of her name and nickname (Tania, Tanya, Kliukvina, Klukva) can be expained by the different transliteration of the Russian and Ukrainian letters Я (ia or ya) and Ю (iu, yu or even u), depending on which transliteration standard is used. This article uses the Ukrainian official transliteration for personal names in Ukrainian passports of 2007[3]. If Таня Клюквина is her real name, it is most likely to appear as Tania Kliukvina in her passport.

Etymology

The Ukrainian and Russian word kliukva (клюква) means cranberry. If Kliukvina (Клюквина) is Tania's real last name, she has probably just derived her nickname Klukva from it.

Age

On Anja's model page at the Ukrainian beauty contest Miss Dessert (Мисс Десерт), her age is mentioned as 19. Her year of birth may therefore be 1989, but it has to be watched if her age on this site changes with the current date or was just a fixed entry.

Public discussion

Apparently, many of Tania's photos were discussed with a focus on her breasts. Although she poses nude for photographers, she does not like this biased point of view and left a comment on the former version of her model page at photosight.ru:

I shall be sincerely grateful to all of you if you stop discussing my breasts. I think that the motivation of my request is clear. ("я буду вам всем искренне благодарна, если вы перестанете обсуждать мою грудь. думаю, что мотивация моей просьбы понятна.")

Perhaps this request was not read or taken serious enough by some visitors. In any case, Tania removed all photos from her model page as well as most of her personal info, which previously even comprised her e-mail address and ICQ number.

She can, however, still be found on her Miss Dessert model page.
