She attended California State University, Long Beach, where she graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies/Creative Writing. On August 10, 1996, she married Greg Covey. She lives in Long Beach, California, and owns three cats.
McLendon-Covey is known for her role as Deputy Clementine Johnson on the Comedy Central television program Reno 911!, a role which awarded her #10 on Maxim's TV's Best Nymphos list. She is a member of The Groundlings and starred in the Lifetime Television show Lovespring International, which premiered June 5, 2006, and was canceled on December 1, 2006.
