Life and career
Like AV idols Anna Ohura, Maria Ozawa and Tina Yuzuki, Sofia Takigawa is of mixed-race parentage. Her father is Portuguese and her mother is half-Japanese. She jokes that her face is from her Japanese mother but her body is from the Portuguese side of her family.
Sofia grew up in Portugal. While still in her teens, her family moved to Japan. She spent 3 years attending high school and learning Japanese. She lived at Osaka dormitory. After graduation, at the age of twenty, she decided to move to Tokyo.
Sofia made her debut as an adult actress on September 13, 2012 with E-body.
