Dixie Evans (August 28 1926 – August 3, 2013) was an American burlesque performer. Her birth name was Mary Lee Evans. She was the curator of the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Nevada and proprietor-curator of the Exotic World Burlesque Museum & Striptease Hall of Fame in Helendale, California. Famous strippers whose memorabilia is housed in the latter include Blaze Starr, Lili St. Cyr and Chesty Morgan.[1]
