Melinda Jayne Messenger (born 23 February 1971 in Swindon, Wiltshire) is an English television presenter and was one of the country's most successful glamour models.
Married to Wayne Roberts since 1998, she has three children, Morgan (April 7, 2000), Flynn (2002) and Evie (December 2003). She separated from her husband on April 15, 2008.
Film
Messenger filmed a cameo role in 1999's Virtual Sexuality and co-starred alongside Richard O'Brien, John Inman, Nigel Davenport, Joss Ackland, Sylvester McCoy, Brian Blessed et al in the cult movie "The Mumbo Jumbo" in the role of 'Princess Vanilla', filmed in 2000.
Theatre
She has become a popular stage actress, starring in many pantomimes since 1997, such as Cinderella (2004–2005) and Aladdin (with Bobby Davro and John Rhys Davies, Woking, 2005–2006).
Books / Magazines
Messenger had her own issue of ‘At Home With…” magazine called 'At Home With Melinda Messenger", which was aimed at parents.
Melinda joined forces with Antony Worrall Thompson and Splenda in May 2008 for the recipe book “The Sweet Life”, in which she contributed some recipes.
Video / DVD
Melinda released "Back Into Shape Workout" after the birth of her first child. It was a six week fitness programme designed to get mothers back into shape after the birth of their baby.
Melinda appeared on video release "Noel Edmonds - Gotcha!", in which she was one of the "unwitting victims receive the treatment from Noel and his gang. Including Jeremy Clarkson, Martine McCutcheon, Richard Branson and Boyzone."
Melinda took part in the charity workout DVD "The All Star Workout: Breakthrough Breast Cancer", along with Kate Winslet, Patsy Palmer, Jo Wiley, Sarah Beeny, Jenny Frost, Faye Tozer, & Gordon Ramsay.
Television
Melinda is one of a host of presenters on the BBC's To Buy or Not To Buy daytime television programme, and ITV1's 'Bingo Night Live'
