Emily Yoshikawa (吉川エミリー - Yoshikawa Emirie or Yoshikawa Emiri) also known as Emiry/Emery Yoshikawa is a Japanese AV actress. She is half Japanese and half Dominican, born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Her AV debut was in the October 2000 Sexia release, Follow Me.[2]
In 2004, Yoshikawa's announcement that she would retire from AVs to appear in soaplands in Tokyo's Yoshiwara district was big news in the entertainment weeklies. In spite of the fact that a session with Ms. Yoshikawa was 70,000 yen-- three times the usual soapland rate, and enough money for a round-trip to Hong Kong-- immediately after the announcement of her change in career, she already had a three-month waiting list.[3]
