Career
Danuta Lato started modelling in the 1980s, appearing in such publications as Mayfair (Vol. 20, #3) Gent (August 1985) and Fling (November 1986). However, she retired from this for a short film career (some of which made her an icon in Israel due to her recurring role in Israeli hidden camera prank movies). But eventually she launched herself as a singer (mainly with her single Touch My Heart), which, surprisingly, gained her considerable success in Europe (although the fact that she often appeared in skimpy, low-cut outfits might possibly have had something to do with it).
