Nikki Tyler (born December 4, 1972 in Berkeley, California, USA) is a porn star best known for her work in the 1990s. Tyler starred in numerous musical stage performances while attending San Rafael High School. Later, she went to college in Los Angeles, California, aspiring to become a clinical psychologist. In order to help finance her tuition, she decided to appear in nude photo shoots. She graced over 100 top men's magazines, becoming Penthouse magazine's Pet of the Month in December 1995. Tyler then dropped out of college, attended makeup school to become a professional make up artist.
Adult film career

Tyler's first dip in to porn industry came with her profession as a make up artist, when she was employed as a makeup artist for Vivid Entertainment. During her time at vivid as a make up artist, Tyler did make up work for porn stars like Racquel Darrian, Janine, and Christy Canyon, all of whom were by then already well established stars. According to her 2001 interview, Tyler claims it was during this time when she became interested in working in adult biz, but that she never thought she'll make it as a vivid girl as she thought she wasn't pretty enough.
Softcore career
Nevertheless, Tyler began her career as a vivid girl, starting with soft core and girl/girl scenes only for the first year and a half in the industry. Metro Contract years
After leaving Vivid, Tyler went on to sign a contract with Metro. During her time in Metro, Tyler's most notable work includes starring in 'Amazing sex talk', widely acclaimed artistic film which went on to spawn two sequels, and 'Hell on Heels', where she once again collaborated with Jenna Jameson. Both 'Amazing sex Talk' series as well as 'Hell on Heels' were well received by both critics and fans alike.
After releasing 'Amazing sex talk 3' and 'Hell on Heels', Nikki has vanished from the Adult film scenes. While her website is still active, it has not been updated since 2004 and now points to Jack's Playground. According to Jenna Jameson's autobiography, Nikki currently lives in California with her husband and young daughter. [2]
