Career
After graduating from high school in 1997, Stokes moved to Miami to start a career in modeling, where she appeared in various swimsuit catalogs and Boating magazine. She was also featured in several international commercials.
Following her manager's advice, she submitted her application for the "Playboy 2000 Playmate Search". As a result, she was invited by Playboy to Chicago for a test shoot and shortly after, for a pictorial shoot.
Stokes was also a beauty pageant contestant, winning Miss Hawaiian Tropic United States 1999 and Miss Photogenic at Miss Hawaiian Tropic International finals in 2000.
