Rose Arianna McGowan (born September 5, 1973, in Florence, Tuscany, Italy) is an American television and film actress.
Career
She came to prominence in Gregg Araki's 1995 black comedy The Doom Generation, where she revealed her breasts onscreen for the first time. She has since gone on to other notable film appearances, in films such as Scream, Jawbreaker, The Black Dahlia, and most recently the Grindhouse films Planet Terror and Death Proof, where she met and later became engaged to director Robert Rodriguez. She was formerly engaged to rocker Marilyn Manson in the 1990s. Her best know TV role was as Shannen Doherty's replacement on the WB series Charmed. She has been featured on songs by electronic musician BT, and Manson, and has expressed a desire to record her own album.
