Stephanie McLean is a British model, who was Penthouse Pet of the Month for April 1970, and Pet of the Year in 1971. This gave her the distinction of being the first U.S. Pet of the Year.

Born Stephanie Harrison,[1] after starting her career in fashion modelling, she posed in both Mayfair magazine and as a Penthouse cover girl.

Her appearance in Mayfair was in December 1970 as 'Girl of the Month' under the name of Gabrielle Nolan. Her hair colour was changed to dark brown for the performance.

McLean met British motorcycle racer Barry Sheene, in 1975,[2] while he was on crutches following a racing accident. After divorcing her first husband, she and Sheene married in 1984,[1] and had two children, a son and a daughter. The family emigrated to Australia in 1987, to try to ease Sheene's arthritis from his injuries. Sheene died of cancer in March 2003.[3][4] McLean continues to reside in Australia.
